I have been searching for a Euro-Asian style
container what would compliment the Persian rug as well as the
light marble interior and Art Deco style of the building.
I think I found it in this multi height Sienna Copper
containers. They are sophisticated and elegant with an Art
Deco style. I would like to install a mix of the above
containers in the common area as marked on the floor plan.
If you click on the floor plan you can see where I placed the
containers. The corresponding numbers tell you which
container is in which spot.
| Containers 1 & 2 |
| I would like to install two of the tallest
(33")Sienna Copper containers in the sitting marked
1 & 2. That area
needs tall plants to take up some ceiling height and add
some warmth. We can get the tall plant look but
with smaller material that will not look imposing or
overwhelm the traffic areas. A medium sized plant
(8)on the credenza
would balance the look. The
Venetian Square is an
alternate container choice but I am trying to achieve a
similar look to this picture.
I would use Kentia Palms for a soft, parlor look in the
sitting area. With the height of the Sienna Copper
containers..... this is what I
am looking for. |
 |
| Containers 8,
9 & 6 |
| I want to use
Bromeliads in containers
8 & 9. I
would also like to use
Bromeliads in 1,
2, & 4. Adding Bromeliads to
1 & 2 will either
be too much color for that area or it will be
amazing. I would like to see it first.
Then we can all form an opinion. If it is
too tropical or too much color we can move the
1 & 2 Bromeliads
to number 6 on
the wall. That would balance the look and
disperse the color. We change out the
Bromeliads every 60
to 90 days for freshness. Number
6 would be
shorter then the Kentia Palms and hug they wall.
I am only trying to add balance, color and
warmth to that wall. |

Containers 4, 5 &7 |
|
I would like to use the ensemble of
containers as seen in the Sienna
Copper picture. I would also use
Bromeliads in two of these containers as well as multi
height foliage. That would be an incredible first
impression as well as a beautiful display for everyone
walking on the other side of that glass.
Container 5 would
have 3 to 4' bush that would add but not distract from
the picture frame look of the board room.
Container 7 would be similar to what is there now.
A shorter plant that adds a little color and warmth to
Sonya's Desk. |

|
Container
3 |
|
A similar look to containers
1 & 2 that
would add some substance to that airy (stairs) hole of
an area. A smaller version of
this in a
Sienna Copper container
with ivy for a soil
cover. This is an important container because it
balances the room, enhances the stairs cavity and adds
warmth to the traffic area going in and out of those two
doors. |

| My suggestions for individual
offices. |
| Each office has it's own set or limitations.
If all of the furniture is in place and everything is
where is should be. I would like to piece each
office together individually. There are only so
many spots in each office that will sustain a healthy
interior plant. We are Interior Plant
Specialist but we can only keep a plant healthy and
attractive if the spot it is in is conducive to the
growing characteristics of the plant. Our plants
are not the normal plants you buy at Wal-Mart. Our
plants are grown especially for the Interiorscape
Industry. Our main suppliers are Hawaii, Florida
and California. They take three times as long to
grow because they are grown in controlled, low light
levels conditions. That way, that have an easier
time acclimating to the low light conditions we subject
them to. All of this is explained on the
Interior Gardens Services
section of our website.
I say this because we simply can not put a plant
everywhere. Even though you may have put a plant
on a file cabinet or in a corner by your desk. It
does not mean that plant can stay there and be properly
maintained. Some areas are just too dark or
cramped to sustain foliage. Sunlight is the single
most important factor in where we can place a plant.
Room is next. The plant must have room to thrive.
Plants do not thrive if any part of it is touching the
wall, cabinet, desk or anything else. They must
have room for us to keep them attractive and healthy.
I suggest we work on each office individually and
purchase an eclectic mix of containers to go with some
of the ones that are already in place as well as the
personality that occupies that space. |
